Workplace: Lisbon (Hybrid)

Role:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business needs;
• Manage reporting projects from requirements gathering through to delivery;
• Develop and optimize data models (star schema, relationships, and measures);
• Develop advanced calculations using DAX;
• Transform and prepare data using Power Query (M);
• Ensure the performance optimization and scalability of reports and datasets;
• Define and implement data visualization best practices (UX/UI and storytelling);
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across reports;
• Identify and resolve issues related to dashboards, data models, and data refresh processes;
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and the continuous improvement of Business Intelligence standards and best practices.

Profile:

• Higher education in Information Technology or a related field;
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics roles;
• Proven experience with Power BI (Desktop and Service);
• Experience with DAX and data modeling (star schema, relationships, and measures);
• Proficiency in using Power Query (M) for data transformation;
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Data Warehouses;
• Proven ability to independently deliver end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions;
• Experience in Power BI performance optimization;
• Knowledge of data governance and security (e.g., Row-Level Security);
• Experience with Git-based workflows (considered an advantage);
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (Fabric) and integrating Power BI with modern data platforms (e.g., dbt, Amazon Redshift, and Google BigQuery) is valued;
• Knowledge of Power BI Report Builder, CI/CD processes for BI deployments, and data storytelling best practices is considered a plus;
• Fluency in English;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to interact effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
